"Thank You"

Words of Gratitude
Operation Grateful Nation was developed to say "Thank You" to those families for the sacrifices they make by having their loved ones serve our country in the Armed Forces.

Since the tragic events of September 11, 2001, our nation has undergone a renewed interest in national security and the importance of the Armed Forces. We can never show enough appreciation to the fine men and women of our military for their courage in serving this great country. Let us not forget, however, the support given and the sacrifices made by the families of those serving -- mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, grandparents and grandchildren -- all giving so much to preserve this nation's safety.

Postcards
Operation Grateful Nation offers you an opportunity to show your gratitude by sending a postcard with a message of hope, thanks and compassion to the families who have loved ones serving or preparing to serve this great country of ours.

It would be wonderful to send letters and packages to both the members of the military and their families, but due to safety concerns that is not possible at this point in time. Sending postcards allows for safer and easier distribution of your messages.
